Natures Spring Arrival
What a wonderful week. We have seen lots and lots of new frogspawn in our pond and lakes. On Saturday we were on walk around the cottages when this gigantic Grey Herron landed on the edge of the pond. It had to have been about 2 and a half feet tall. Such a graceful flyer. We also have a very notorious Hare. He comes out at night and stands in front of the lights. When his reflection hits the wall, he looks like a kangaroo. He is very tall and it is very hard to get a picture of him. I got a picture of the Grey Herron but its far away. I will post it under Sperrins Nature. Last night I was coming home late by the cottages and i seen the most beautiful Fox. Lately the Fox's here have become grey and rough but this one was so fine. Glad to see the countryside so active.

Sperrin View Cottages Official Opening
The opening has come and gone. It was a fabulous day and we were honoured with the presence of the deputy First Minister Martin McGuinness MP, MLA. We had 200 hundred guests from all over the Sperrins and the craic was great. There was food, wine and great Irish Traditional music from the Pomeroy Comhaltas Ceoltoiri Na Eireann. A day to remember and cherish.

Frosty Night
The frost has made the heather on the bog look so white and crispy looking. Looks fantastic as the last weeks of winter close in. Great to see the nights getting longer. Alot of walkers have braved it out again. 14 days to the big launch and we cant wait.
